Vidalia® Onion Committee

The Vidalia Onion Committee partnered with select retailers in key opportunity markets to increase sales of Vidalia onions. McIntyre Marketing created a “Sweet Times: Taste the Memories” campaign to enhance the nostalgic memories of cooking at home and reinforce the Vidalia brand as the “original” sweet onion. Campaign included point of sale materials, in-store demos, public relations activities and circular advertising.

The results were very successful with a retailer reporting a 30% increase in sales as a result of the promotion.
